It's time to say goodbye

Now we are back in Jeri again where we will stay some more time until we finally have to fly back to Austria.

Our journey has been a long one, we had an amazing time traveling through South-America, ate delicious fresh seafood, tried mouthwatering exotic fruits, surfed with dolphins, rode a lot of waves, saw many different landscapes, one more beautiful than the another, made a lot of new friends and had a lot of fun!!!

But unfortunately every journey has to come to an end. And so it's time for us now to say goodbye to you. Thanks for following our blog and see you at home…

Trip from Jeri to Lençois Maranhenses and the brazilian capital of Reggae

From Manaus we took a flight back "home" to Jericoacoara to enjoy our last months with some sun, sand, sea and surf. And we were lucky: just after arriving a BIG swell was coming in… YEAH

After two weeks we decided to make a trip up north along the coast to Lençois Maranhenses and São Luís, the brazilian capital of Reggae. The trip took us a bit over a week and was quite adventures… Crossed many rivers, ate fantastic shrimps, hiked over dunes, swam in lagoons with perfectly clear water, killed thousands of mosquitos, danced forro at the end of the world in Atins and met lots of nice people!

Back "home" in Jeri - yes, it can get very green in the rainy season here! :)

Let's get out of the water before the rain is coming...

Everyone is having fun at the beach

Finally in Lençois Maranheses

Yes, there are sharks in the water pools between the dunes! ;)

But we are not afraid of sharks! ;)

On our way out of Lençois Maranhenses we had to cross a thousand rivers and lakes with our 4x4
